The Anti-Defamation league criticized a hip-hop producer involved in interethnic affairs for his ties to the Rev. Louis Farrakhan. Reacting to the news that Russell Simmons, a hip-hop music producer and secretary of the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding, was launching a series of celebrity public service announcements, as well as publishing a teacher’s guide on ethnic tolerance, the ADL expressed concerns over Simmons’ personal connections.
