A U.S. judge awarded two Jewish families $21.8 million, the largest award made to date from the Swiss banks fund. Judge Edward Korman made the award Wednesday in a claim regarding the Nazi takeover of a prewar sugar refinery in Austria that had been owned by the Bloch-Bauer and Pick families.
