An exhibit on Parisian Jews opened Saturday in Paris’ City Hall. Using photographs and documents, the exhibit details the history of Jews in the Marais neighborhood from the 13th century until today. Paris Mayor Bertrand Delanoe said in a statement that the exhibit will “permit us to analyze, to understand, and to definitively reject indifference, hate, and barbarity.” The exhibit runs through Aug. 27.
