A new initiative aims to help Hurricane Katrina victims cope with post-traumatic stress. A consortium initiated by the UJA-Federation of New York, the United Jewish Communities and the Israel Trauma Coalition will provide mental-health professionals from New York and Israel to train local professionals who can help children and families, among other programs.
