Ehud Olmert said there would be no cease-fire in the next several days. “Israel is continuing to fight” with Hezbollah despite a 48-hour cessation of airstrikes announced late Sunday night, the Israeli prime minister said Monday in an address to the nation. Olmert said the Israeli offensive would end when two soldiers kidnapped by Hezbollah are returned and when the threat of Hezbollah rockets on northern Israel is ended.
