Jewish brothers attacked in U.K.

Two Jewish brothers were attacked by three youths in London’s Golders Green neighborhood. As the brothers, 25 and 35, left a restaurant in the largely Jewish neighborhood Feb. 15, the three youths yelled “f***ing Jews!” and gave chase, wielding sticks, rocks and a baseball bat. The two brothers sustained injuries including cuts to the face and arms, severe bruising and swollen lips before the assailants fled. Police classified the incident as a “racially motivated attack causing actual bodily harm” and appealed for help in finding the attackers. The three assailants have been described by witnesses as about 17 years old and of white, Arab/Muslim and Mediterranean racial backgrounds.
