Jordan’s King Abdullah met with President Bush at the White House to discuss prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace.

“The king said that a just and comprehensive peace to which the Arab people aspire should emanate from a solution that addresses all outstanding issues between the Palestinians and Israel, including final status issues,” a Jordanian Embassy statement said after the meeting Tuesday.

Arab nations are concerned that a summit  the White House is planning to convene this fall will address only fund raising for the Palestinian Authority and not final-status issues, such as borders, Jerusalem and refugees.
