Best wishes to National Jewish Democratic Council executive director Ira Forman, who is recovering from a heart attack Sunday evening, reports the Washington Jewish Week. The NJDC says that Forman is doing well and scheduled for bypass surgery early next week. Forman suffered the heart attack near the end of the Jewish Primary Day School of the Nation’s Capital’s annual Purim Masquerade Ball & Auction, at which he and his wife, Caryn Pass, were being honored for their volunteer work with the school.
