NJDC leaders elected to DNC

The National Jewish Democratic Council is congratulating two of their own for getting elected to the Democratic National Committee. NJDC vice-chair Sunita Leeds and NJDC board member Stephen Bittel were both elected to be at-large members of the DNC, and will both serve on both the Rules and Bylaws Committee. Leeds, who served as co-chair of the rules committee for the 2008 Democratic National Convention, will also serve on the DNC’s executive committee.

NJDC Congratulates New DNC At-Large Members Bittel, Leeds

WASHINGTON, DC – The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) congratulates NJDC Vice-Chair Sunita Leeds and NJDC Board member Stephen Bittel for their election as At-Large members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). They will both serve on the Rules and Bylaws Committee and Leeds will also sit on the DNC’s Executive Committee.

"NJDC is proud to have Sunita and Stephen as invaluable parts of our leadership. Sunita’s and Stephen’s advice, guidance, and energy will be a great asset to the DNC,” said Marc R. Stanley, Chairman of NJDC. “NJDC congratulates our good friends and wishes them continued success in their DNC roles.”

Previously, Leeds served as Co-Chair of the 2008 Democratic National Convention Rules Committee.
