To the Editor:
The last thing South Africa needs is to boycott an educational institution in a small country that has become the world’s second Silicon Valley, as South Africa has deteriorated in many many ways in the past few years. Crime is rampant, the economy is suffering and many talented people have left the country.
Boycotting an Israeli university that has much to offer South Africa is like buying a rope to hang oneself. The bigots proposing this will be responsible for making South Africa into a basket case.
