I wrote last night and this morning about how the Texas governor was "reassessing" his presidential campaign after his relatively poor showing in Iowa (fifth place, 10 percent).
Well, Rick Perry has reassessed, and he’s back in, according to this tweet, which includes this photo, with the following caption:
And the next leg of the marathon is the Palmetto State…Here we come South Carolina!!!
I’m not sure I understand — is he swimming to Charlotte?
The loss has got to hurt — his final message to Iowans was, well, almost apocalyptic:
More prosaically, Perry now sees the other Rick — Santorum — as the man to bring down. Check out the ads on his website: He likens the former senator from Pennsylvania to Barack Obama.
