…but in a good way. According to Reuter’s, Sandler’s production company, Happy Madison Productions, is set to produce a movie based on the board game Candy Land. The team will be working with Sony and Hasbro to bring the game from the board to the big screen, with Kevin Lima to direct and “Kung Fu Panda” writers Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger to pen the script.
I, for one, am super pumped for this movie. As a self-accepting “fat kid” back in the day, Candy Land might as well have been called Garden of Eden in my mind. I loved all that crap, and pretty much thought I was the Lollipop Princess.
