Not really, it’s a joke, but a funny one.
Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli and the comedy website “Funny or Die” came out with a fake campaign video for the social fundraising website Kickstarter, (a crowd-funding site where people pitch ideas for random projects and get funding in exchange for different benefits), where she is urging people to donate money so she can make her dream come true and create her very own sex tape.
Click on the link to donate, and it takes you to two real charities: amfAR, which is dedicated to HIV research, and Project Sunshine, which provides free educational, social and recreational activities to really sick kids.
One comment to the video stated that this project could “end the recession” while another responded that this could also “start one.”
Kudos to Refaeli for playing along, despite the very unfortunate ending. Watch the video here:
