Congratulations to Rabbi Lawrence Hoffman on his outstanding Sabbath Week column, “Blowing in the Wind” (April 26).
Not only did it address the issue [of this administration’s immigration policy] perfectly, but it reminded this reader of how too many fellow Jews, mysteriously in thrall of the president’s policies, seem blind to how inimical to Jewish values these policies and so many of the president’s pronouncements are.
