A $10, 700, 000 first mortgage bond issue for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University has been oversubscribed with orders exceeding the amount issued by about 25 percent, it was announced here today by B. C. Ziegler and Co., underwriters.
Proceeds of the issue, believed to be the largest single institutional bond issue ever offered publicly, will be used by the medical school for the construction of a 250-bed university hospital and a 12-story research center.
