One hundred American Jewish community leaders arrived here on a one-week study mission sponsored by the United Jewish Appeal. The group was headed by Paul Zuckerman, of Detroit, national chairman of the UJA’s “Operation Israel.” The visits will be repeated over the next four months with different groups of Jewish leaders arriving each week. The new’s arrivals held a joint meeting with the UJA’s Young Leader-ship Mission that came to Israel earlier. Both groups were briefed on the country’s problems and economic needs.
