Israeli health authorities reported nearly 100 suspected cases of cholera in the Gaza Strip today. They said that 43 confirmed cases have been hospitalized and preparations were being made to admit more patients to hospitals if necessary. The new outbreak of cholera, the second in Israel and Israel-held territories this fall, has been confined to the Gaza Strip so far.
