One hundred Brooklyn Jewish leaders, including business and professional men, devoted the entire day yesterday in an effort to ensure success of the tenth annual dinner and ball of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities to be held November 18 at the Hotel St. George.

The group met for breakfast at the Hotel St. George at 8:30 and heard Magistrate David L. Malbin, special chairman for the day, outline the day’s work and assign each worker a list of prospects.

In the evening the volunteers met at the Unity Club, where their reports were received by Supreme Court Justice Mitchell May, president of Brooklyn Federation; Harry Zeits, chairman of the dinner and ball committee, and Magistrate Malbin.

“The executive committee has set a goal of $90,000 for this year’s dinner and ball,” said Judge Malbin. “That sum is needed to complete our $500,000 budget.”
