One thousand young people in the junior division of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, who last night convened for their twelfth annual meeting at Temple Emanuel, heard M. Maldwin Fertig’s address on “The Obligation of Youth in Philanthropy.”
Paul Felix Warburg, trustee of the federation, presented honorary, awards and the Sicher Cup. A scroll was presented to Irving Berkelhammer, president, and resolutions to Bernard Aronson, former treasurer, Leon Kellman, former vice-president. The Sicher Cup was given to Benjamin Beckerman, chairman of the industrial division, and Miss Adele Springer, chairman of the tropical supper dance.
Beckerman, the newly-elected president, was chairman.
