A total of 10,347 immigrants arrived in Israel in 1953, including almost 5,000 from Morocco, Tunis and Libya, the Jewish Agency announced today. The number of immigrants from Asian countries was 2,793, while nearly 1,000 came from Eastern Europe and another 747 from Western Europe.
