More than 5,000 travellers entered Palestine in September, according to a report by the Permits Section of the Government of Palestine showing that 5,115 travellers in transit, tourists and pilgrims arrived during that month.
During the same period 2,720 residents returned to Palestine. The number of arrivals in September-immigrant tourists and returned residents-doubtlessly reached 10,000.
During August 6,013 travellers in transit, tourists and pilgrims entered the country and 3,294 residents returned to Palestine.
