Ten thousand Soviet Jews have already applied for permits to leave the Soviet Union to come to Israel, Absorption Minister Nathan Peled said yesterday in the Knesset. Peled claimed that the total number of Russian Jews who want to come to Israel was believed to run into many tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands.
