In the last decade 107 new Jewish settlements were established in Palestine, the United Palestine Appeal reports. On Jan. 1 there were a total of 203 settlements harboring 105,000 Jews.
Sixty-eight of the new settlements, and 110 of the total, are on Jewish National Fund land. The increase in the number of Jewish settlers was 227 per cent in ten years, according to the report, which was prepared by the Jewish Agency for Palestine.
