Eleven persons, including women and children, were killed today when a number of houses, undermined by three days of heavy rains, collapsed in villages in the vicinity of Jenin and Jerusalem. The precipitation in the Jerusalem district so far this season has totalled 17 inches, compared to four and a half for the same period last year.
