The National Council of Jewish Women announced today that 15 students–11 of them from Israel–have arrived in the U.S. on Council scholarships. Mrs. Irving M. Engel, Council president, said the Israelis will return home after receiving the “most advanced training in social work, nursery guidance and teaching developed in this country.”
