Eleven West Bank Arabs were killed and at least 40, including four Israeli soldiers, were injured yesterday in one of Israel’s worst road accidents. A bus carrying West Bank workers back home collided head-on with an army truck on the Jenin-Meggido road and both vehicles overturned into a steep ditch alongside the road. Most of the victims were from the Nablus area. The injured were taken to hospitals. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
