A second shipment of 11,000 cases of Jaffa oranges has just been landed at Halifax from Palestine.

The importation of this fruit from Palestine has never been so great as in the present season and this shipment alone aggregates almost two and one-half times the total entering Canada in the year ended March 31, 1932.

The Wolfe Fruit Company, one of the largest importing concerns in Canada has now delegated Yechiel Hocherman as a special representative in Palestine to solicit and encourage greater orange shipments to this country.

“We foresee a great future in Canada for the Palestinian fruit,” a spokesman for the firm declared.
