A group of more than 120 men and women from the Greater Boston area left for Israel today on a 10-day mission under the sponsorship of the Business Men’s Council of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston.
In addition to sightseeing in the Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa areas, the group will make special trips to Jewish Agency installations in Israel to see the work of the United Jewish Appeal in action. Special arrangements are also being made for the Boston contingent to meet with Israeli Government officials in order to get a fuller picture of the nation’s problems in regard to the absorption of immigrants and in other areas.
