Twelve hundred clergymen of New York, members of the Jewish and non-Jewish faiths were the guests yesterday of Maurice Schwartz at the Yiddish Art Theatre at an invitation performance of “Yoshe Kalb”.
Leaders of the various denominations in New York attended the performance of the play which is a dramatization of a novel by I. J. Singer, which has been enjoying popularity at the Yiddish Art Theatre.
