Nearly $125,160 in advances have been received by the riot sufferers in Safed, Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, according to an announcement by the Palestine Emergency Fund. Safed was granted $35,000, Haifa $15,345, Tel Aviv $9,815, and Jerusalem $65,000. All of these advances are temporary, pending government compensation and the final disposal of the Jewish fund.
