Judge Wilson Warlick in Superior Court today dismissed thirteen of sixteen counts in the bill of indictment against William Dudley Pelley and three associates, who were charged with alleged violation of the State capital issues law in connection with the sale of stock in the Galahad Press in 1932.
The jurist, however, over-ruled the defense counsel’s non-suit motion as to Pelley and Robert Summerville in the first, second and seventh counts of the indictment. Charges against Don H. Kellog were dismissed in all but the seventh count. Charges against H. M. Hardwicke were dismissed on all sixteen counts.
Pelley and Summerville are charged in the first count with offering for sale stock through an advertisement in Liberation, Pelley’s paper. The second count charges them with misrepresenting financial conditions of the Galahad Press for the purpose of
