Thirteen Polish Jews who had been held in German jails on various trumped-up charges including “Rassenschande” (race pollution) were free today following intervention by the Polish Government. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency was given to understand that Poland has instructed her embassy here to take a firmer attitude in the future with respect to the maltreatment and arrest of Polish Jews in Germany.
