More than 130,000 Jews were killed in a special German “ghetto camp” in the Lwow province in Poland in the period from September 7, 1941 to June 6, 1943, it was announced over the week-end by the Soviet Extraordinary State Commission Investigating War Crimes. The camp was one of several in the Lwow area in which a total of 700,000 persons were killed, including American and British citizens, the commission said.
