One hundred and thirty-six persons have filed applications with the Board of Education to take the examinations for the post of Hebrew teacher in the city high schools, it was disclosed yesterday. The examination will be given at Julia Richman High School on May 10.
Those who succeed in passing the test, which is expected to be one of the most difficult ever given by the Board, lasting six hours, are assured of being placed within a year, it was learned yesterday.
