Fourteen Arab terrorists were dead today following sharp clashes last night and early this morning between Arab bands and British troops.
Six were killed in a battle this morning near Jalud, between Ramallah and Nablus, after an Arab band had ambushed a black watch patrol. Three British soldiers were wounded, one seriously, in the engagement. Nine Arab rifles were captured.
Eight Arabs were slain last night in a skirmish between troops and a band in the vicinity of Beisan, terrorist-infested region in the northeast. Five bandits were captured, four of them with letters in their possession from Jerusalem Municipal Councillor Hassan Sidky Dajani.
Two Arab employes of the German Consulate here were arrested today in connection with Saturday’s bombing on King George Avenue, in which five Jewish girls and two boys were wounded.
