British troops swooped down today on the center of Jerusalem, and arrested 14 persons, after detaining and questioning nearly 400. The reason for the raid was not given.
A daring robbery in Tel Aviv this afternoon netted the robbers, believed to be extremists, gems valued at $8,800. They were seized from diamond merchant Shmuel Brandstatter, who was assaulted in his apartment.
