One hundred and forty six Jewish refugees among the survivors of the sinking of the Italian liner Orazio have been brought to Genca according to advices reaching the HIAS-ICA Emigration Association today. The number of refugees among the lost could not be immediately estimated.
The refugees in Genoa are being maintained at the expense of the Italian steamship line, which has promised to indemnify them for lost luggage. They will resume their journey on the next available Italian steamship.
