Official figures published today on the number of Jewish physicians reveal that 1,471 of the 6,319 doctors in Berlin, or 23.3 per cent, are Jews.
Proportions of Jewish physicians in other sections are: Silesia, 12.8 per cent; Hamburg, 11.8; Hessen-Nassau, 10.0; Baden, 5.4; East Prussia, 4.9; Rhineland, 4.0; Pomerania, 3.4; Brandenburg, 2.9, and Lower Saxony, 1.9.
