The elections to the Council of the Jewish Community of Czernowitz which have just been held, contested by the Zionists, headed by Dr. Meyer Ebner, the Orthodox party, headed by Isaac Rosner, and the Government party under the leadership of Dr. Menzcer, have resulted in the return of twenty-one representatives of the Government party and fifteen Zionists. The Orthodox party failed to obtain representation.
