Three ships bringing about 1,000 tourists for the Passover holidays docked in Israel today. This is a record high for a single day. Yesterday 500 tourists arrived.
Speaking at the dedication of a new Scandinavian airline service between Europe and Israel, Yaacov Zuriel, deputy director of the government tourist center, said that 5,000 persons are expected to visit Israel in April alone. Included in this total, he said, would be the members of 35 different travel groups.
