One and one-half million dollars were cabled to Palestine by the American Jewish National Fund during July, it was announced today by Judge Morris Rothenberg, president of the JNF.
A total of $7,301,953 has been remitted to the JNF in Palestine since September 1, 1945, the announcement said. This represents the income from the traditional collections of the JNF and from the allocations made by the United Palestine Appeal out of the proceeds of the United Jewish Appeal campaign. In this amount is also included the sum of $250,000 from the sale of the JNF $2,500,000 note issue.
