Twenty-four Judges and public prosecutors in Lower Saxony were disclosed today to have resigned under pressure for their participation in terror judgments under the Nazi regime during the war.
The corresponding figure for all of West Germany was given as 153 such forced resignations. The data were disclosed at the last meeting of the Lower Saxony Parliament before the forthcoming elections for a new one.
