A schedule providing for issuance of 1,584 immigration certificates to Jews during August and September was announced in the Official Gazette today.
Added to the two-month schedule will be certificates not used in the April-July period, plus additional certificates sufficient for admission of wives and children (under 18) of immigrants arriving during the current period or before it began.
The total immigration schedule for the August-September period, according to the Gazette, called for issuance of 2,050 certificates. Of this number, however, 100 are for Arabs and 366 for Arabs and 366 for immigrants who entered the country illegally during May, June and July.
