A total of 1,800 Jewish immigrants arrived in Israel during the past two days. At the same time, a group of youths–six boys and one girl–reached Haifa in a tiny vessel following their escape from a Cyprus detention camp. They arrived here after encountering turbulent weather and eluding British land and naval units in the Cyprus area.
