Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, will be the guest of honor and principal speaker at the Chanukah Festival for Israel Bonds in Madison Square Garden tomorrow evening, it was announced today by Ira Guilden, chairman of the Chanukah Festival Committee. She will address an audience of 18,000 Israel bond investors who will attend the event.
Admission to the Festival, which will be held again on Tuesday evening, January 1, is free to those who purchase Israel bonds. Tickets to the first performance are sold out, Mr. Guilden said in his announcement, but some tickets are still available for the January 1 performance. A special feature of the Chanukaj Festival will be the appearance of the Rinat Choir from Israel, a 42-voice choral ensemble.
