According to official figures published here, 187 persons abandoned the Jewish religion and 50 others became converted to Judaism during 1935.
Those leaving the Jewish community included 80 men, 80 women and 27 minors. Of the number, 140 joined no church, 29 became Roman Catholics, 10 joined the Evangelical church and 8 the Czechoslovakian church.
Those converted to Judaism included 18 men, 25 women and 7 minors.
