It was officially announced here that 191 Jewish and “non-Aryan” judges and magistrates, the majority of them war veterans, have been ousted from the German courts in accordance with the Nuremberg “ghetto” laws.
Of this number, 22 were dismissed from the high court, 72 from the district court and 91 from lower tribunals. Among those losing their posts was one rabbi who had been employed for religious purposes.
