The opening sessions next Tuesday of both branches of the Hungarian parliament will be presided over by Jews, in accordance with the existing custom that the oldest member of each house is to preside over the first session.

Dr. Paul Sandor, well known Jewish leader of Hungary who has long been a member of the House of Deputies and who is now 76 years old, will open the session of the Lower House. Chief Rabbi Emanuel Loew, 75, will preside in the Upper House.
