Two Israeli scientists from the Agricultural Research Institute at Beth Dagon have been invited to attend a scientific workshop at Samarkand, in Soviet Central Asia, later this month. The scientists, Prof. Itzhak Sheinberg and Dr. Asher Bressler, will be in Russia for about two weeks. The international scientific workshop will discuss problems of land reserves throughout the world, how to use them and their conservation. It will be conducted by the International Union of Advanced Studies Institutions.
