2 Red Cross Agents Arrive in Cracow to Supervise Relief

Wayne Chatfield Taylor and James T. Nicholson, delegates of the American Red Cross, arrived today in Cracow to arrange distribution of eight carloads of medical supplies and warm clothing sent from the United States for relief of the Polish population, it was announced here by the American Red Cross.

Taylor and Nicholson will remain in Cracow for two weeks. They will allocate the supplies, in cooperation with the German Red Cross, to at least six Polish agencies, including Jewish groups, which will distribute them to the civil population in the Warsaw Lublin, Radom and Cracow areas. The German Government has given assurances to the Red Cross that these supplies will not be claimed by the military authorities.
